Brigatinib, sold under the brand name Alunbrig, is a small molecule targeted cancer therapy developed by Ariad Pharmaceuticals. It inhibits anaplastic lymphoma kinase, known as ALK, and the epidermal growth factor receptor, along with several other tyrosine kinases. The drug is effective against ALK positive non small cell lung cancer and received accelerated approval from the FDA in 2017 for second line treatment, with its use expanded to first line treatment in 2020.
