Exercise Prescription

Physical Rehabilitation Therapy

Exercise prescription is a specific plan of fitness-related activity designed for a particular purpose, typically developed by a fitness, rehabilitation or exercise medicine specialist for an individual client or patient. Because each patient needs and interests differ, an exercise prescription focuses on motivation and customization to make reaching the intended goal more likely, and takes into account the patient medical history and a pre-examination of their physical fitness to confirm they can safely perform the prescribed exercises.
