Leukotriene receptor antagonist-associated Churg-Strauss syndrome is a drug-induced variant of eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis that can appear in asthma patients between two days and ten months after starting a leukotriene receptor antagonist medication. It presents with elevated eosinophil counts and lung infiltrates, and can extend to nerve damage, sinus inflammation, or heart muscle disease.
