All Diseases of the Respiratory System

Conditions of the airway and lungs, following ICD-10 Chapter X (Diseases of the Respiratory System). Belongs here: a chronic lung disease, an occupational lung disease caused by workplace exposure, and a respiratory infection such as a viral or bacterial pneumonia, which ICD-10 classifies by the organ it affects rather than by the organism alone. Does not belong here: a systemic infectious disease that happens to have respiratory symptoms but is defined by the causative organism's spread through the whole body, grouped under infectious and parasitic diseases.
