Andrea Carlo Francisco Rabagliati (1843 to 1930) was a Scottish physician, naturopath and author of books on dietary practice. Born in Edinburgh to a political refugee from Italy, he spent two years in British Guiana, then studied medicine at Edinburgh University, qualifying M.B. in 1869 and M.D. in 1872 with a gold medal for his thesis on relapsing fever. He worked at the Bradford Workhouse and the Bradford Infirmary, began private practice in 1872, became a surgeon to the Infirmary in 1877 and a medical officer to the Bradford Fever Hospital, and was admitted a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1890. He was consulting surgeon to Bingley Hospital and established St. Catherine's Home for Cancer, and lived at Ben Rhydding. This entry records what he held and did, and is not medical advice.
