Andreas Röschlaub was a German medical doctor, born in Lichtenfels, Bavaria, on 21 October 1768 and dying on 7 July 1835. He studied medicine at the universities of Würzburg and Bamberg and took his doctorate at Bamberg in 1795. In 1798 he became a full professor of pathology at Bamberg, moved in 1802 to the Ludwig Maximilian University at Landshut, where he directed the medical school, and in 1826 moved with the university to Munich as professor of medicine.
