Walter Schultze (1 January 1894 to 16 August 1979) was a German physician, state health official and Nazi Party politician. Between 1935 and 1944 he led the National Socialist German Lecturers League in Nazi Germany, and he was also a member of the Schutzstaffel, reaching the rank of SS-Gruppenführer. After the Second World War he was arrested and charged with assisting in the mass murder of hundreds of disabled people in Bavaria under the Aktion T4 program. Following long delays and several legal proceedings he was convicted in 1960 and sentenced to four years at hard labor. His entry records a physician and health official whose wartime conduct was examined and judged in court.
