Revalenta Arabica, also called Ervalenta, was a preparation sold in the nineteenth century as an empirical diet for patients and marketed as a cure-all, supposedly effective against diseases of the blood, brain, kidney, liver, lungs, nerves, glands, mucous membranes, and stomach. It survives today as an example of the patent medicines that circulated widely before modern standards of evidence governed medical treatment.
