Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, also known as UCLA Medical Center, is a hospital on the campus of the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Westwood neighbourhood of Los Angeles, and the primary teaching hospital for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the UCLA School of Nursing. It is part of UCLA Health, alongside facilities such as Santa Monica Medical Center, Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, and UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, and operates as both a Level I adult trauma centre and a Level II pediatric trauma centre with about five hundred and twenty beds. U.S. News and World Report has ranked it among the best hospitals in California and on the West Coast, and the American Nurses Credentialing Center granted it Magnet status recognition in 2005.
