Stanford V is a chemotherapy regimen used as a first line treatment for Hodgkin lymphoma. It was developed in 1988 with the aim of maintaining a high remission rate while reducing the acute and long term toxicity, pulmonary damage, and sterility seen with alternative regimens such as ABVD. It combines a mustard derivative such as cyclophosphamide, chlormethine, or ifosfamide with doxorubicin, vinblastine, vincristine, bleomycin, etoposide, and the corticosteroid prednisone.
