Isocentric Technique

Oncologic Therapy

An isocentric technique is a radiation treatment approach in which all beams used share a common focus point, called the isocenter. Isocentric techniques require less patient repositioning than non-isocentric approaches, since multiple field arrangements can be delivered through gantry and collimator movement alone, reducing treatment times.
