Age management medicine, also called longevity medicine, is a set of preventive healthcare practices that use biomarkers of aging, such as aging clocks, to try to keep a patient's biological and psychological age as close to peak performance as possible throughout life. The field was historically considered alternative medicine and remains controversial, with insufficient scientific evidence supporting many of its practices, and it commonly promotes its approach through nutritional supplements and hormone replacement therapy.
