Encephaloduroarteriosynangiosis, or EDAS, is a neurosurgical procedure for revascularization of the brain. It is used primarily to treat moyamoya syndrome or severe intracranial atherosclerotic disease, helping to prevent strokes and transient ischemic attacks by improving blood flow to affected brain tissue.
