All Urologic Surgery

Operations on the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra and prostate, covering both the urinary tract shared by men and women and the male organs that are urologic rather than strictly reproductive. This includes kidney procedures such as nephrectomy and percutaneous nephrolithotomy, bladder procedures such as cystectomy and bladder augmentation, stone treatment such as lithotripsy and ureteroscopy, prostate procedures such as prostatectomy and transurethral resection of the prostate, and urinary diversion and reconstruction such as ileal conduit and neobladder creation. Procedures on the testes, penis and other organs that are reproductive rather than urinary in function are grouped instead under reproductive and genital surgery.
