Does not belong here: Trepanation, an ancient cranial surgical practice grouped under historical and premodern treatment practice because its significance here is chiefly historical rather than as a technique in current use, or the anesthesia and antiseptic technique that support an operation without being the operation itself, grouped under perioperative and anesthetic care.
