Biphasic disease

Symptoms, Signs and Abnormal Clinical Findings

A biphasic disease is a disease that occurs in two distinct phases or has two distinct components. In a clinically biphasic disease the two phases are generally separated in time, while in a histopathologically biphasic tumor the tumor tissue contains two different kinds of neoplastic cellular elements.
