Mark Lester

Mark Lester (born Mark A. Letzer, 11 July 1958, in Oxford, England) is an English former child actor who starred in a number of British and European films from 1964 to 1977, best known for playing the title role in the 1968 film Oliver!. After his acting career wound down he trained as an osteopath and acupuncturist, occupations the infobox on his Wikipedia page lists alongside acting, and he went on to open a clinic practicing both disciplines, a second career that runs alongside his continuing recognition as a former child star.
