Eric Franklin is a Swiss dancer, movement educator, university lecturer and writer who founded the Franklin Method in 1994, a technique combining creative visualization, embodied anatomy and physical and mental exercises to improve movement and body function. Originally developed to help dancers train more effectively, the method has since expanded into a broader approach to human movement education, using science-based mental imagery, touch, anatomical understanding and accessible tools such as balls and resistance bands. Franklin teaches and lectures internationally, and his method is applied in dance training, physical therapy and general movement education. He was born 28 February 1957.
