Aquapheresis

Renal and Transfusion Therapy

Aquapheresis is a medical technology designed to remove excess salt and water from the body of patients with fluid overload. The treatment removes excess fluid to help restore a patient's proper fluid balance, a state called euvolemia. It is used as an alternative to standard diuretic therapy when fluid removal needs to be controlled safely, predictably and effectively.
