Electrical and Ultrasound Therapies

Treatments that send electrical current or sound waves into the body to relieve pain or stimulate nerves and muscles, including transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation, electrotherapy, electrical muscle stimulation, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation, lateral electrical surface stimulation and therapeutic ultrasound. An entry belongs here when its own source describes such a device. It excludes implanted surgical devices. Each member is a physical rehabilitation entry that the atlas covers as a subject in its own right, placed here on what its cited article says it is and how it is used, never on its name alone.
