Michelin tire baby syndrome is a condition present at birth marked by multiple, symmetric, circular skin creases or bands on the forearms, lower legs, and often the neck, which fade later in life. The name comes from their resemblance to the folds of Bibendum, the mascot of the tire manufacturer Michelin. Associated abnormalities vary and can include facial dysmorphism, upslanting eyelid folds, widely spaced eyes, cleft palate, genital anomalies, mild developmental delay, and other defects.
