Orgasmic epilepsy is a rare form of epilepsy in which sexual auras trigger spontaneous orgasms, overlapping with ecstatic epilepsy and other sexual-aura seizure types. Cases have been documented mostly as individual reports and case series since the first orgasmic seizures were described in 1960, and neuroimaging in some patients points to right-hemisphere brain activity as the likely origin.
