Animal Surgery

Operations performed on animals by veterinarians, including canine gastropexy, femoral head ostectomy, the tibial plateau and tibial tuberosity procedures and the tightrope technique for torn cruciate ligaments, ventral slot decompression, urethrostomy and organ replacement. An entry belongs here when its own source describes a veterinary operation. It excludes neutering, body alterations and euthanasia. Each member is a veterinary and animal care entry that the atlas covers as a subject in its own right, placed here on what its cited article says it is and how it is used, never on its name alone.
