Felix Leopold Oswald was a Belgian American physician, naturalist, secularist and freethought writer. He was born on 6 December 1845 and died on 27 September 1906. His life combined medical training with natural history and with public writing on freethought and secularism, so he is remembered as much as an author and thinker as a clinician.
