Feminizing hormone therapy, also known as transfeminine hormone therapy, is a form of gender-affirming care that changes the primary and secondary sex characteristics of transgender people from masculine to feminine. It is used by transgender women and non-binary transfeminine individuals as part of gender transition, and some intersex people and other non-transgender people also take it according to their own needs.
