Paget's Disease of Bone

Paget's disease of bone is a condition involving abnormal remodeling and deformity of one or more bones. Affected bone shows dysregulated remodeling at the microscopic level, with excessive bone breakdown followed by disorganized new bone formation. These structural changes weaken the bone and can lead to deformity, pain, fracture or arthritis in nearby joints.
