Anthrax immune globulin, sold under the brand name Anthrasil, is a human immune globulin used in combination with antibiotics to treat anthrax. It was developed by the company Cangene and was subsequently acquired in 2011 by the US Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority as part of Project BioShield; the US Food and Drug Administration approved it in March 2015 for use in treating inhalation anthrax alongside antibiotics. It is administered intravenously and requires a prescription in both the United States and Canada.
