CLaCS, short for Cryo-Laser and Cryo-Sclerotherapy, is a minimally invasive treatment for visible leg veins that combines a transdermal laser with an injected sclerosing agent, performed under skin cooling to reduce pain. The laser first shrinks the vein through photothermolysis, after which a sclerosing solution is injected into the remaining vessel; developed by Dr. Roberto Kasuo Miyake in 1999, it offers an outpatient alternative to more invasive vein procedures such as phlebectomy.
