Eyebrow Restoration

Eyebrow restoration is the medical and cosmetic process of restoring eyebrow hair in people with eyebrow thinning or loss caused by trauma, burns, genetic factors, aging, over-plucking, hormonal changes, scarring, or various skin or systemic conditions, with the goal of restoring both appearance and function, including symmetry, natural hair direction, and density. Non-surgical approaches include camouflage, microblading, tattooing, and cosmetic prostheses, which apply pigment rather than transplant hair and are typically used for mild thinning. Surgical methods transplant actual hair follicles or use skin grafts, including follicular unit transplantation, follicular unit extraction, single-hair follicle transplantation, and flaps or grafts, providing longer-lasting or permanent results by moving hair-bearing tissue to the eyebrow area.
