Injectable Filler

Injectable filler is a substance made to be injected into connective tissues such as skin, cartilage or bone, for cosmetic or medical purposes. Its most common application is changing facial appearance, filling in wrinkles, restoring facial volume and augmenting facial features, though injectable fillers are also used to reduce symptoms of osteoarthritis, treat tendon or ligament injuries, and support bone and gum regeneration. Injectable fillers can take the form of hydrogels or gels made from pulverized grafts, and potential side effects include bruising, allergic reactions, and infection from improper sterilization.
