The Dor procedure, also called endoventricular circular patch plasty, is a technique used as part of heart surgery, originally introduced by French cardiac surgeon Vincent Dor, to address a dilated left ventricle caused by a myocardial infarction. It restores the heart's normal elliptical shape using a circular suture and a Dacron patch to repair a ventricular aneurysm and exclude scarred tissue.
