Four corner fusion, also called partial wrist arthrodesis, is a surgical procedure that removes the scaphoid bone and fixes the remaining wrist bones together with a plate or wires. It is most often performed to treat wrist arthritis or scaphoid collapse, and is a common intervention for patients with wrist osteoarthritis.
