Piero Mozzi is an Italian doctor and naturopath, a graduate of the University of Parma, who has become known as a committed theorist of the blood type diet, an alternative nutritional approach that recommends eating patterns based on a person's ABO blood group. In the 1990s he founded the Mogliazze Biological Community, an organic farming and lifestyle community associated with his naturopathic and dietary ideas. His work sits within the tradition of physician-led alternative nutrition theories, combining formal medical training with naturopathic and dietary practice outside mainstream clinical nutrition. He was born 30 January 1950.
