Rizwan Hafeez Malik, who uses the honorific Hakeem, is a Pakistani medical researcher and a practitioner of Tibb-e-Unani, the Unani system of traditional medicine practised across South Asia. He was born on 22 September 1956 and is living. His public career includes service as President of the National Council for Tibb and as the Administrator and Authority of the same council under the Ministry of Health of the Government of Pakistan, so his name belongs to the institutional side of traditional medicine in his country as well as to its clinical practice. The state has honoured him three times: with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz, the Medal of Distinction, in 2007; with the Sitara-i-Imtiaz, the Star of Distinction, in 2013; and with the Hilal-i-Imtiaz, the Crescent of Excellence, in 2023. The source article is short, so this entry records those facts and no clinical claims.
