A nebulizer is a drug delivery device used in medicine to administer medication in the form of a mist that is inhaled into the lungs. It uses oxygen, compressed air or ultrasonic power to convert a liquid medication into small aerosol droplets, and is commonly used to treat asthma, cystic fibrosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and similar respiratory conditions.
