Scrotoplasty

Scrotoplasty, also called oscheoplasty, is a surgical procedure to create or repair the scrotum. It is performed for a range of reasons: some transgender men and intersex or non-binary people assigned female at birth choose it as part of transition, it can correct birth defects such as webbed penis in newborn males, and it can address a scrotum affected by aging, infection, necrosis or traumatic injury. Research into male genital plastic surgery techniques such as scrotoplasty began in the early 1900s, and testicular implants, first developed in 1940, are made today from saline or gel-filled silicone rubber.
