Partial Hospitalization

Psychotherapy and Behavioral Therapy

Partial hospitalization, often called a partial hospitalization program or PHP, is a structured treatment program for mental illness, addiction or other serious psychological conditions in which the patient continues to live at home but travels to a treatment center for care, sometimes as often as seven days a week. It is intended to provide a level of clinical support close to that of inpatient hospitalization without requiring the patient to be admitted overnight.
